Transitioning out of the military is a time of unknowns for the military member and their spouse. There are numerous classes the Special Operations member must complete, but when it comes to the wives and the families, there are few resources to support the people who most intimately support him.
That's where The Pillar Foundation comes in.

Here at The Pillar Foundation, we know firsthand what it is like to walk alongside our husbands as the leave the SOF life and become a civilian. We know what it is like for our kids and the stress our marriage goes through. We see the doubt of what is next that arise in the hearts of our husbands, and we wonder who we will become as well.
We as SOF spouses may not have been on the front line with our husbands, but our hearts and emotions were with them. The stress of their career took a physical, mental, and emotional on us as it did them.

Over the last two years we have worked with over 113 SOF spouses. We have seen them through the celebrations of retirement, the stress of having your spouse home all of the time, connected them to quality mental, hormonal, and other wellness resources, provided career coaching, supported new business or pivots in careers, hosted retreats around the country to help them decompress and process, all the while starting to connect these amazing SOF spouses through our community.
